Dessutom ger de ofta några grader extra mkt högt upp i varv pga vikternas utformande så tror man att man har tex 30 grader så är det inte ovanligt att de kan ge 6+ grader el mer vid 4000+ varv. Have built / restored several 57 Chevys over the years , I never really had a problem, but being a " Novice Nova Builder " I need to know if the GM type HEI distributor will clear the firewall in a 72 Nova { 350 V8 & Turbo 350 auto.} ? It just seems that it would be better to either use a stock dist and install one of the electronic conversions that are available which work great, OR, have Dave Ray convert the stock dist to a small body HEI. I have a SB400 in the 70 with the stock dist and a PerTronix unit.
