WebCan you from SQL*Plus connect to the remote database? So if you are in SQL*Plus on the Primary can you connect to the Standby? And on the Standby can you connect to the Primary? I would just the same copy of the password file everywhere. Generally I move my Primary copy to the Standby and rename. Does this make sense?
