WebAug 23, 2013 · Dyeable gear has a small colored circle in one of its corners. You can easily notice it on a lot of pre-dyed gear you obtain from quests. Most, if not all, white-quality armor can be dyed. I can't remember if pink-quality items (Aetherial X) can. WebTo dye items in FFXIV: Right-click the item in your inventory that you want to dye. Tap X if you are using a controller. From the sub-command menu, select ‘Dye’. If you do not see ‘Dye’, that item cannot be dyed. From the pop-up modal, you can preview different dyes including dyes you do not own.
