WebJan 29, 2024 · For years I have had a PIR sensor wired to some down lighters in my porch and the sensor has stopped working as the lights are now on permanently. I’ve bought a new pir sensor but am not sure how to wire it up. The first two pictures show the current worn out sensor and the third photo is the new one but it only has three wires to connect … WebOne of the best things about it is that you can put it into manual mode and force it to stay on, regardless of motion sensed or not. No more flicking switches on / off or waving your hands in front of the sensor to keep a sensor light turned on. For $30ish (plus the electrician), it's well worth the money.
